The Lifestyle Vet is a boutique veterinary practice focusing exclusively on lifestyle block animal species, including small ruminants, camelids and pigs.

We don’t currently have any veterinarian positions available, but there’s absolutely no harm in reaching out—after all, you never know what the future may bring!

Student Placements

At The Lifestyle Vet, we absolutely love mentoring the next generation of veterinary professionals and thoroughly enjoy welcoming veterinary, veterinary nursing and veterinary technician students into our practice.

To ensure every student receives the highest quality learning experience, we intentionally limit placements to a maximum of two students per week. This allows us to provide plenty of one-on-one teaching, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to develop practical skills without compromising the quality of the placement.

Our student placements are highly sought after and are often booked out six months in advance, so we encourage you to get in touch as early as possible to secure your preferred dates.

Please note that, for professional indemnity insurance reasons, we are only able to accept placements for students who have been accepted into an accredited veterinary degree or are enrolled in a recognised veterinary nursing or veterinary technician qualification.
